Head down to Oak Park to the positive-vibe space of Classy Hippie Tea Co. for our first ever sex positive open mic! Whether you are tight with the microphone or need an introduction, we want to hear you voice your poems. Give us your polished best. Give us your scrawled-on-a-napkin. Spoken word to haiku, it all flies in a sexual-or-specifically-not-as-you-please fashion. Do come prepared to share a maximum of 5 minutes. We are offering a blanket trigger warning as poetry often deals with sensitive topics (poetry is also hilarious btw… so give us sexy comedic poetry!).
